Ocean View Restaurant Fingal bay ($$)

Located in Fingal Bay, this contemporary, light-filled restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows, giving you a breathtaking view of the bay. Serving up modern Australian and international dishes, the Ocean View Restaurant are open 7 days a week.

You’ll get a three course meal from between $25 – $65 for a group of people with their affordable group options. Alternatively, you’ll find an affordable priced set menu, serving up well-priced seafood and bistro meals with nothing over $30, which also caters for children.

Fingal Bay Bistro – Fingal Bay Sports Club ($)

Serving up affordable bistro lunches and dinners, the Fingal Bay Sports Club, Fingal Bay Bistro is a hit among locals. Grab a burger for as little as $14 and enjoy a night of raffles, meat draws and bingo.

The bistro does stop cooking at 8pm, so it is best to get in early and book ahead on 4984 1244.

The Wood Oven, Nelson Bay ($)

Traditional Wood Oven pizzas are a sure-fire hit for a hungry flock, or an easy Friday night takeaway. The best wood oven pizzas are rumoured to be located in Nelson Bay, just ten minutes from Fingal Bay, at The Wood Oven.

Fully licensed and with takeaway available, this pizza bar offers pasta, salads and breads, you’ll grab a family size pizza for no more than $25.

The Point, Soldiers Point ($$$)

Boasting an exquisite là carte seafood experience, rumour has it that this is one of the best places to go for fantastic seafood and excellent service. Boasting views of the ocean through huge wrap-around windows, The Point offers an eclectic seafood focused menu, which is predominately sourced from local markets.

Located just a few minutes’ drive from Nelson Bay, a main seafood course costs around $40. Locals say The Point is best visited early in the evening to dine while the sun is setting over the bay.
